The source I originally appropriated these images from, a Dutch bookstore’s online merch page, is now defunct. Alas. Not sure when, exactly, these silhouette illustrations were made and I don’t feel like putting in the research to found out. Wait, I lied because I did spend some time looking for some information on these pieces and one source states it was 1944. It’s not a great deal of information there to work with so don’t take my lazy research as gospel.
